I became interested in photography about seven years ago when 35mm film was still the standard. My photographic abilities improved over the years and when digital technology came to be, my creative potential expanded significantly. Computer technology paired with digital photography has extended the boundaries of my imagination beyond limitation.

I believe that preserving family heritage is important and, therefore, enjoy portrait photography. To make each photograph unique to a family, I offer personalization by creating custom-made backgrounds and/or combining images via layers which may include landscape photographs from my personal collection. I have traveled into wilderness areas and captured many wonderful scenic landscapes. My portrait photography extends to equine and other animals; offering creations that are one of a kind.

My most satisfying medium is restoring vintage photos - making a sun damaged, cracked or molded photograph look 'like new'. It's very gratifying to restore what was once thought to be a 'lost' treasure and, in the process, make new friends.

My photographs have been featured in magazines and I've received several awards. I also have had many requests for my work from all areas of the country. I sincerely hope you enjoy my portfolio as it will give you an idea of what I have to offer you.
